Our Story
Euphoria Pole & Aerial Fitness, previously known as Acro Polates was founded by Ming (commonly known by her stage name Suzie Wong) and has the longest history in Singapore as a premier provider of pole dance and aerial as a form of fitness.

Ming has been an entertainer, singer, and show host for almost 30 years. During her career, she decided to expand her performing skills by trying out new crafts, including pole dancing, to incorporate into her act.

She discovered pole dancing and was fascinated by the athleticism involved. She started combining singing with pole dancing tricks, which attracted a lot of attention, especially from women who were interested in learning these skills.

In 2008, Ming founded Acro Polates with the aim of providing a safe space for students to learn pole dance and fitness. The studio quickly gained a strong reputation, and in 2009, it was invited to perform in the National Day Parade. The studio then expanded to become one of the first aerial schools in Singapore. Led by Ming, our aerial team was invited to perform for the 5th Anniversary of Gardens by the Bay, attracting a massive turnout of 10000 spectators over a weekend.

To reflect the evolving pole scene, the studio was renamed “Euphoria” and welcomed Baey as a new partner/director to bring fresh ideas. or the work she has done, Ming has garnered media attention, broadening the appeal of pole dancing and bringing it to a wider range of audiences in Singapore.. Today, Euphoria offers a variety of pole and aerial classes for all, including men’s pole.

Ming is now in her mid-50s and still spinning and swinging on the pole. “What is life without a challenge “ and everything seems better upside down
